Hire - Large Chiller Trailer (Week)

Cancellation Policy

I agree to prepayment of my booking (an invoice will be issued by our office after your booking is approved). To cancel or reschedule, I will contact Dobsons a min of 48 hours before my pick-up date (Refund applicable for timely cancellations). I will bring the trailer back at the time the agreed time. If the chiller is not returned on the due date, daily rates will be charged up to the return date. If there is a possibility of a delay in the return, I will notify the Dobsons office immediately. If the trailer has already been booked for use by another customer, I agree that Dobsons may insist that the trailer be returned. I am responsible for all fines or traffic offence notices which arise while the trailer is on loan to me. I will drive the tow vehicle in accordance with all legal requirements and tow vehicle limitations. I am responsible for any damage/loss that is caused to the trailer or caused by the trailer and/or my vehicle to myself or any other persons or property while the trailer is on hire to me. As the person hiring the trailer I agree to completely indemnify Dobsons Refrigeration and Electrical in respect of all claims by any person for injury to person or property caused by or in connection with, or arising out of the use of the trailer. Should an insurance claim need to be made by Dobsons due to damage sustained while on hire, the hirer agrees to pay the excess of $500 plus an additional $500 if the driver is aged from 21 - 25 and an additional $1,000 if the driver is aged under 21. I agree that upon pickup of the trailer, everything is in good form and working order as per the pre-hirage check carried out by Dobsons. I will bring any defect which affects the operation of the trailer to the attention of the Dobsons staff as soon as practicable after I notice the defect. If I have taken the chiller trailer outside of 50km from the Dobsons Te Puke Workshop, I am responsible for returning it to the Dobsons Te Puke Workshop for repairs. I understand the chiller can only travel on sealed roads, as gravel roads can cause damage and I will be liable for repairs. I understand the chiller trailer is tracked. I understand that I will require my own extension cord for power supply. I understand the tow ball size on our trailers is the NZ standard size 1 & 7/8 inch. I will return the chiller trailer with two padlocks, one metal winder and the padlock key. If any are missing, recovery costs will be invoiced.
