What are the pick up and drop off times?

Chiller trailer pick up times are between 8am - 4pm.

Drop off times are preferred to be completed prior to midday. If there is an issue or you're running late, please give us a call to let us know.

What size tow ball do I need?

Accepted Answer

Tow ball size is 1 ⅞ (a common standard in NZ).

Can I keep the chiller trailer for a extra day?

Accepted Answer

In most instances yes, we just need to double check our bookings so give us a call and we'll let you know.

Please note: There is an extra day charge which is $50 + GST for a small trailer and $75 + GST for a large trailer.

Do you offer long term hire?

Yes Dobsons offers long term chiller trailer hires throughout the year. If you're wanting to hire a large chiller for 4 weeks or more we can offer special pricing.

How long does it take to chill?

Accepted Answer

The chillers take 30 minutes to cool down and go down to 2°C, they will not freeze.
